This was one of those pinch-me moments. From the spark of an idea inspired by a Liberian folktale… to months of writing, revising, and soul-searching… to now holding a visual representation of Joviah’s journey in my hands.
And yes—your girl cried a little! 😭
Here’s a peek at what went into bringing this cover to life:
🌺 Color palettes that honor Afrocentric heritage
✨ Typography that blends strength and softness
🌿 Symbolic imagery that mirrors Joviah’s quest for identity and purpose

I cannot wait for you to read Joviah’s story when Orange Blossom launches. Every page carries the heart of my heritage, the resilience of my ancestors, and the universal search for belonging.
